Hello!! Happy New Year! It's been way too long since I've updated this blog, so let's get caught up! I hope your holidays were splendid and that 2008 is treating you well. And I hope you've started off the year with a great book! Here are a few titles I've read and LOVEd this year: The Perilous Gard Elizabeth Marie Pope A great fairy tale with an interesting twist at the end. Helps you want to delve into the history of Elizabethan England as well. Cheaper by the Dozen Frank B. Gilbreth, Jr. and Ernestine Gilbreth Carey This book made me laugh out loud more than once. Tells about life in a family with 12 children in the 1920's. Times haven't changed as much as one might think. Guys Write for Guys Read Multiple Authors, edited by John Sciezka This book has also made me laugh out loud, even, perhaps, to guffaw. If you've ever been a boy or wondered how boys think, this is the book for you. It tells some delightful tales of boyhood many of which
