Happy Lunar New Year!


Today marks the Lunar New Year.  This year it's the Year of the Tiger.  It's time to clean house, eat dumplings, and wear red!  One of my favorite memories of celebrating the Lunar New Year was watching the dragon dance-- truly amazing!  #LunarNewYear #ChineseNewYear

Disability Pride Awareness Month!

It's disability pride awareness month! Celebrate by reading one of the books suggested by the New York Public Library. I am reading Paperboy by Vince Vawter about a boy who stutters. I love the book, and I identify with the story of a boy who is misunderstood because of his disability. Prayers for everyone who has a disability and may have been misunderstood or mischaracterized because of it, and prayers for all those who work with people who have disabilities.
